The Gift of Sight: A Community Initiative for Better Vision
On August 21, 2024, the Light for All Foundation, Inc. held a successful medical mission at Malaya Elementary School that includes promoting eye health in the community. Free eyeglasses were provided to students, parents, and teachers, highlighting the importance of vision care for everyone.
On September 14, 2024, 31 pairs of eyeglasses were distributed, greatly improving the recipients’ quality of life. Dr. Jeson Viñas, our optometrist, educated attendees on how to care for their eyes and maintain their new glasses. His guidance emphasized the need for regular eye check-ups.
This initiative showcases the foundation’s commitment to health and education, making a positive impact in the Malaya community.
