Light for All Foundation Brings Medical Care to Malaya Elementary School
On August 21, 2024, Malaya Elementary School was abuzz with activity as the Light for All Foundation, in collaboration with local volunteers and a dedicated medical team from the United States, hosted a much-anticipated medical mission. This event was a key part of the recently renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the foundation and the school, which aims to enhance the well-being of the students.
The mission offered a range of essential health services to the pupils, including general check-ups, dental care, eye examinations, and counseling. In addition, students received vitamins and other vital health supplies. The day was marked by a warm atmosphere and a strong sense of community support.
The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and the positive impact of community-driven health initiatives. Both the Light for All Foundation and the Malaya Elementary School are committed to continuing their partnership to further support and uplift the students’ health and education.

Question 1: How was your overall experience in the medical mission?
“My overall experience in the medical mission was extremely positive, it was a well-organized event and care provided was profesional and compassionate. I felt that the community’s health needs are genuinely adressed and it was heartwarming to see sp many people being helped. “The medical volunteers were exceptional and they were kind, patient and attentive to everyone’s needs. They treated the person respectfully and ensured we felt comfortable throughout the process and their dedication was truly inspiring.” – Mrs. Montefalcon

Question 3: What impact did the mission have on you?
“The mission had profound impact on the school and community. Realization of the importance of community health care, and how essential is it for everyone to access medical services. They felt very well cared, professional and more informed about the well being and grateful for the cared received.” – Mrs. Montefalcon

Question 4: What’s your favorite part about the medical mission?
“My favorite part was the health education session for the children learned simple tips of how to maintain good health daily, the volunteers explained everything clearly and it gave the practical knowledge that children can use to keep the family healthy” – Mrs. Montefalcon

Question 5: What improvements or suggestions do you have that we can work on?
“The mission was well runned, one suggestion I have is to extend the hours or add more days to the events to accommodate more people in the community, specially in Malaya Elementary School. So many people need help and extending time might allow more individuals to benefit from the services offered. Thank you and God bless!” – Mrs. Montefalcon
