Scouting for a Better Community: LFA Hosts 2-Day Training Event

On January 21-22, 2025, Light for All Foundation (LFA) organized a two-day scouting event aimed at training youth in the community in essential scouting skills and values. Recognizing the importance of scouting in character development and leadership, LFA partnered with the Victoria Scouts from Melbourne, Australia, to deliver an engaging and educational program.

A total of 41 enthusiastic participants took part in the event, which covered a range of scouting topics. The first day focused on leadership, the history of scouting, and teamwork. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, participants learned the core principles of scouting, the significance of leadership in their communities, and the importance of working together to achieve common goals.

On the second day, participants were introduced to practical scouting skills, including knot-tying and lashing techniques, which are essential for outdoor survival and pioneering projects. They also engaged in various team-building games that reinforced the lessons learned from the previous day. To enhance the sense of camaraderie and scout spirit, participants learned traditional scout songs, fostering a deeper connection to the global scouting movement.

The event successfully instilled valuable life skills in the participants, empowering them to become responsible and service-oriented individuals. By collaborating with the Victoria Scouts, Light for All Foundation demonstrated its commitment to youth development and community-building, ensuring that the next generation is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to make a positive impact.
