“Yes I Can” Youth Retreat 2022

Thanksgiving Australia is a group of Egyptian-Australian volunteers/ missionaries from Australia. There were more than 40 volunteers that came to the Philippines and had partnership with LfA foundation to facilitate outreach activities to its partner communities and organizations. One of the main highlights of their visit is the retreat given to the 50 youths of Barangay Pinyahan and Barangay Central. The retreat was held in a retreat house in Antipolo for 2-days and one night last December 26 and 27, 2022. The theme of this retreat is “Yes I Can” which focuses on empowering the youth to do and stand for what is right and to say ‘no’ to the unrighteousness that they see, and experience in their life, most especially on what is happening on social media and their environment.
