In 2015, Typhoon Yolanda, one of the strongest typhoons in history, struck Tacloban, leaving its residents devastated and in urgent need of medical attention. Responding to this crisis, Light for All Foundation stepped in to provide medical care. Since then, the organization has been conducting quarterly medical missions, offering vital healthcare services that have benefitted thousands of Filipinos.
These missions have gained the support of both local and international healthcare professionals, including doctors from Egypt, Australia, Dubai, and the United States. The Foundation has also collaborated with the local government, with invaluable support from mayors, barangay officials, community health workers, and nurses. These dedicated individuals have contributed their time and resources, offering venues, mobile clinics, and other essential services to ensure the success of LFA’s initiatives.
Through these sustained efforts, the Light for All Foundation has played a significant role in improving the well-being of not only Tacloban’s residents but Filipinos around the Philippines, reaffirming its commitment to providing hope and care to those in need.
